About the position

The Customer Support Analyst Intern at Allstate's Arity division will play a crucial role in the Customer Success Organization, focusing on enhancing transportation safety and efficiency through technology and data. This internship offers a unique opportunity to shadow various roles within the Customer Success team, gaining insights into best practices in customer support, SaaS, and client relationship management. The intern will collaborate with multiple teams to understand customer needs and how Arity's solutions can help meet those needs, while also developing technical skills related to mobile development and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow Arity team members to become familiar with Arity flagship products in Telematics and Mobility.
  • Learn about all facets of being a member of Customer Success, including selling, nurturing, and supporting customers.
  • Understand customers' business strategies and how Arity solutions help achieve their goals.
  • Learn new technologies related to Arity's cloud-based infrastructure, APIs, SDKs, and mobile technologies.
  • Work with debugging tools such as Postman and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues using internal and external resources, learning customer support best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand product implementation based on customer feedback.
  • Assist Customer Success Managers with troubleshooting issues and sharing critical client activity.
  • Develop skills in iOS, Android, mobile testing, data analysis, and processing.

Requirements

  • Working toward a degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant work experience.
  • Introductory coding and/or mobile development experience.
  • Knowledge of mobile development tools.
  • Mastery of Excel for analyzing data, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Interest in data analysis and processing.
  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them in business terms.
  • Interest and passion for working with progressive technologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Development experience with mobile apps in iOS or Android.
  • Exposure and/or experience using APIs.
  • Experience with Postman, Apigee, Jupyter, and/or cloud technologies.
