About the position

The Arizona Project WET Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in developing and delivering water-focused educational programs for students and teachers in Arizona. This position emphasizes experiential learning and aims to enhance understanding of water conservation and management in the state. The coordinator will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure program objectives are met while engaging with community partners and stakeholders to promote water education initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that program objectives and outcomes are met in accordance with established priorities, timeframes, funding, and other specifications.
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 software to enhance the organization, accessibility, and transparency of material across the team.
  • Determine priorities in accordance with grant objectives, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Develop schedules, oversee daily operations, and coordinate the program calendar.
  • Maintain data points, summarize results, and support the compilation of various program reports.
  • Develop, compile, and disseminate program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Connect, collaborate, and nurture relationships with community partners, educators, government agencies, NGOs, and sponsors.
  • Promote University of Arizona water education initiatives and APW programs.
  • Enthusiastically deliver APW programming with exceptional skill, ensuring attainment of measurable outcomes.
  • Build rapport with students, educators, partners, and the wider APW team to deliver quality programming, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide technical advice, insights into best practices, creative problem-solving, and reflection on performance as a collaborative member of the APW Team.
  • Support the whole team, including Volunteers, APW Outreach Specialists, other APW Coordinators, and the Program Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Possess transportation and a valid driver's license with current vehicle insurance at the time of employment.
