About the position
WGS Group, Inc. is seeking part-time Armed Security Guards to join their team in Concord, California. The role requires individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of providing quality customer service while ensuring the safety and security of the assigned premises. Candidates must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Enforce client/company rules, policies, and regulations as per post orders.
- Provide quality customer service to clients and visitors.
- Analyze situations and report actions taken to management during typical and crisis situations.
- Work independently or as part of a small team to resolve urgent issues.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and communications.
- Respond to alarms and detect emergency situations using sensory awareness.
Requirements
- Valid California BSIS Exposed Firearm permit.
- Minimum of a GED/High School Diploma.
- Must be a US Citizen with valid Social Security Card and birth certificate.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Ability to follow established procedures and policies.
- Excellent attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and a current Driver's License.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service (1 year preferred).
- High school or equivalent education.
