About the position

As a Part-Time Armed Security Officer at a retail location parking lot, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment through vigilant security practices and effective conflict management. This role requires you to conduct foot patrols, report incidents, and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property on foot, ensuring safety and security.
• Conduct foot patrols and submit reports every 20 minutes.
• Scan checkpoints and document any incidents or observations.
• Evict trespassers and loiterers from the property as necessary.
• Remain alert and report incidents as they occur.
• Maintain professionalism and assertiveness at all times.

Requirements

• Level 3 guard card in hand.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean background check.
• Verifiable security experience of at least 2 years.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Tracktick is a plus but not required.
