About the position

The Armed Security Officer at Phoenix Protective Corp is responsible for maintaining security and safety in designated areas through patrols, monitoring entrances and exits, and providing assistance to customers and employees. This role requires a commitment to professionalism and the ability to respond to incidents effectively while ensuring a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Maintain site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Guard Card
• Mid-level experience in security or law enforcement
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to stand for 100% of the shift and physically restrain others
• Ability to obtain a Washington State Security License (must not have any felonies or misdemeanors)
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible working schedule to include weekends
• 21 years of age and older
