About the position

Global Security Services is seeking professional Armed Security Officers for part-time positions in the Lexington Park MD area. The role primarily involves providing security services for large movie chains, ensuring the safety of patrons and staff during evening hours on weekends and select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services at movie theaters during evening hours.
• Collaborate with theater managers to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security issues.
• Assist patrons with inquiries and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Requirements

• Valid Maryland Guard Card with Carry Permit.
• Own a registered firearm and necessary duty gear (holster, flashlight, black boots, and pants).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Availability to work at least part of the weekend and some holidays.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per regulations.
