About the position

The role involves providing security services to protect personnel and property, with a focus on maintaining a visible presence and responding to emergencies. Candidates must be available for various shifts, primarily during weekends and nights, and must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed/unarmed security services to protect personnel and property
• Conduct patrols and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other illegal activities
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard certification or be willing to obtain one
• Experience in military or law enforcement is preferred
• Ability to provide basic medical assistance in emergency situations (CPR and First Aid certification)
• Knowledge and ability to implement loss prevention strategies
• Skilled in conflict management and deescalating tense situations
