About the position

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Robotic Controller Integrator to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO is tasked with collaboratively developing two complex HMIF formations: one integrated formation for an Armor Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and another for an Infantry BCT within a 27-month timeframe. The Robotic Controller Integrator will play a crucial role in ensuring that the HMIF common controller aligns with stakeholder requirements and facilitates a smooth transition plan to onboard a Program of Record office following prototype development. The Robotic Controller Integrator will be responsible for the successful integration of the HMIF Common Controller, leading the controller integration efforts, and working closely with DOTm LPF stakeholders across the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enterprise. This role involves the development of interface requirements for the HMIF Common Controller, designing transition plans, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met. The integrator will also advise, coordinate, and schedule engineering and technical support activities relevant to the Common Controller subsystem development and capability integration. In addition, the Robotic Controller Integrator will provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations to resolve technical problems, participate in the development and execution of test strategies, ascertain the technology readiness level of the HMIF Common Controller, and engage in budgetary discussions related to the Common Controller. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all integration efforts are aligned with the overall project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Successful Integration of HMIF Common Controller.

  • HMIF Common Controller interface requirements development, design, transition plan stakeholder coordination.
  • Advising, coordinating, scheduling, and remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration.
  • Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
  • Participates in the development and execution of test strategies.
  • Ascertains HMIF Common Controller Technology readiness Level.
  • Participates in Common Controller budgetary discussions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field of study
  • Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop test plans and lead testing execution of HMIF Common Controller at system level as part of the HMIF systems of systems
  • Application of DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans, and Performance Based Specifications
  • 10 plus years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across both hardware and software systems. Fewer years of experience will be considered based on complexity and success of the experience
  • Requirements development and decomposition
  • Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software
  • Engineering Integration of systems of systems, system and sub system level
  • ICD and IOP development
  • Testing Experience
  • Experience in the skills and responsibility areas described above

Nice-to-haves
