About the position

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Robotic Controller Integrator to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and one formation for an Infantry BCT within a 27-month timeframe. The Robotic Controller Integrator will ensure that the HMIF common controller aligns with stakeholder requirements and has a smooth transition plan to onramp to a Program of Record office post-prototype development. The Robotic Controller Integrator is responsible for the successful integration of the HMIF Common Controller, leading controller integration efforts, and working with and supporting DOTmLPF stakeholders across the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enterprise. This role involves the development of HMIF Common Controller interface requirements, design, and stakeholder coordination for the transition plan. The integrator will advise, coordinate, and schedule while remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration. Additionally, the position requires providing integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for the resolution of technical problems, participating in the development and execution of test strategies, and ascertaining the HMIF Common Controller Technology Readiness Level. The integrator will also participate in budgetary discussions related to the Common Controller.

Responsibilities

• Successful Integration of HMIF Common Controller.
• Leading Controller Integration.
• Work/interface with and support DOTmLPF stakeholders across the HMI enterprise.
• HMIF Common Controller interface requirements development, design, transition plan stakeholder coordination.
• Advising, coordinating, scheduling, and remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration.
• Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
• Participates in the development and execution of test strategies.
• Ascertains HMIF Common Controller Technology readiness Level.
• Participates in Common Controller budgetary discussions.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field of study
• Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to develop test plans and lead testing execution of HMIF Common Controller at system level as part of the HMIF systems of systems
• Application of DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans, and Performance Based Specifications
• 10 plus years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across both hardware and software systems. Fewer years of experience will be considered based on complexity and success of the experience
• Requirements development and decomposition
• Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software.
• Engineering Integration of systems of systems, system and sub system level
• ICD and IOP development
• Testing Experience
• Experience in the skills and responsibility areas described above.

• Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications
• Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders.
