About the position

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Communications Integrator to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office. The HMIF Project Office is tasked with collaboratively developing two complex HMIF formations: one integrated formation for an Armor Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and another for an Infantry BCT within a 27-month timeframe. The Communications Integrator will play a crucial role in ensuring that the HMIF prototypes maintain connectivity in a highly challenged tactical RF environment by providing wired and wireless network recommendations. The Communications Integrator will be responsible for coordinating with all relevant users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. This role involves translating business requirements into telecommunications needs, including LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice, and Video requirements, as well as designing and ordering necessary components. The position requires performing engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives to support strategic modernization efforts and enhance telecommunications design for medium and large-scale infrastructures. Additionally, the Communications Integrator will assist telecommunications end users and operations personnel with network interfaces, analyzing design specifications and related documents. The role also includes coordinating communications and networking requirements with the Network Working Group, managing a multi-disciplinary HMIF Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT), and planning the development and delivery of communications and networking requirements for HMIF. This position requires travel as part of the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.
  • Translates business requirements into telecommunications requirements, designs, and orders.
  • Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts.
  • Assists telecommunications end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management with network interfaces.
  • Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents.
  • Coordinates communications and networking requirements with the Network Working Group.
  • Manages a multi-disciplinary HMIF SEIT.
  • Plans the development and delivery of communications and networking requirements for HMIF.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 6 years progressively complex experience working collaboratively with program management, systems engineers, schedule analysts, and operations personnel in a concurrent engineering environment
  • 5 years of direct experience with Army network development
  • 2 years of experience managing network development teams
  • 2 years in cyber or C4ISR systems, computers, and tactical communications systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology related field of study with a network engineering focus
  • 6 years experience - can be an equivalent combination of training, work experience and, preferably, applicable military experience.
