About the position

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO is tasked with collaboratively developing two complex HMIF formations: one integrated formation for an Armor Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and another for an Infantry BCT within a 27-month timeframe. This role requires the Systems Engineer to work closely with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements that will support the prototyping of the HMIF Armor and Infantry BCT formations. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the success of HMIF working level systems engineering. This includes interfacing with and supporting DOTmLPF-P stakeholders across the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enterprise. The role involves conducting an Analysis of Alternatives, documenting, tracking, and maintaining configuration management using Digital Environments (DE) and associated engineering tools. The engineer will also be involved in requirements development and decomposition, starting with Mission Engineering and progressing through system of systems and system-level performance specification development. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will identify, exploit, and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities. They will plan, coordinate, schedule, direct, and control engineering and technical support activities related to systems development and capability integration. The role requires providing integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolving technical problems, developing acquisition contract documentation such as Statements of Objective and Statements of Work, and participating in the development and execution of test strategies. Leading and working on multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams is also a key aspect of this position.
