About the position

The Army Special Operations Forces Professional Specialist position is located within the US Army Special Operations Command at Fort Liberty, NC. This role focuses on developing and executing information and data management strategies to support the Human Performance and Wellness (HPW) initiatives of the Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF). The position involves leading working groups, managing data systems, and engaging with external entities to enhance data collection and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the USASOC HPW ARSOF Profession Division's information and data management strategy.
• Direct and lead working groups/task forces/ad hoc groups in the development of various programs.
• Track the mechanics of current DOD data management systems and their impact on ARSOF HPW data management.
• Manage and supervise the development, implementation, and administration of the USASOC HPW website.
• Engage external entities to facilitate concept development and implementation of data collection, storage, and analytics initiatives.
• Manage USASOC Human Subject Research programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in evaluating the effectiveness of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Human Subject Research within a Special Operations Command.
• Experience tracking mechanics of current data management systems such as SOCOM Human Performance Data Management System (HPDMS), SMARTABASE, VANTAGE, ADVANA, Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A), and Defense Ready (DR).
• Skills to lead working groups with divergent viewpoints to gather information related to organizational activities.
