About the position

The certified ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner) at Proliance Surgeons, Inc. plays a vital role in delivering critical healthcare services. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is committed to enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge while providing comprehensive patient care. The ARNP will be responsible for conducting health assessments, developing care plans, and performing various medical procedures, all while advocating for patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and identifying patients, completing and documenting accurate histories and physical examinations.
  • Conducting comprehensive or episodic health assessments and developing patient care plans.
  • Ordering and interpreting tests, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice.
  • Prescribing medications, diets, supplies, prosthetic devices, and other home health aides according to clinical privileges.
  • Administering and/or injecting medications.
  • Performing wound care, including applying or removing casts, splinting, and dressing changes.
  • Instructing and counseling patients regarding treatment plans and therapeutic regimes.
  • Providing clear, concise, and accurate information regarding patient care in medical records.
  • Maintaining technical familiarity and proficiency for specific surgical procedures prior to performance.
  • Assisting in surgical procedures and answering service coverage responsibilities.
  • Initiating Basic/Advanced life support in emergency situations.
  • Providing education to patients, families, and significant others using established materials.
  • Integrating evidence-based knowledge and clinical expertise in decision-making.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Two years prior experience in surgery is a plus.
  • Advanced physical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, standards of care, instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.

Benefits

  • Per diem pay ranging from $48.24 to $86.83 per hour.
