About the position

As an Arrival Ambassador at Fairmont Kea Lani, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and assisting them with their luggage upon arrival and departure. Your role is crucial in creating a memorable experience for our guests, ensuring they feel valued and informed about the resort and its offerings. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication between guests and staff, providing timely delivery of items, and assisting with parking and shuttle services.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests and help them with their luggage upon arrival and departure.
  • Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages, and any other items for delivery within the property.
  • Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly, and engaging way.
  • Assist in providing parking options and safely park any valet vehicles.
  • Act as a driver for the Hotel Shuttle(s) when required.
  • Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: water, lei, towels, etc. as needed.
  • Maintain communication of up-to-date, accurate information between guests, staff, management, and our partners on a daily basis.
  • Share information about the resort and activities, island activities, restaurants, and other information as it pertains to guests.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests.
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of the island, our resort, and resort offerings in order to be our guests’ trusted guide.

Requirements

  • Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Must have and be able to maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Must provide clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Must be able to operate a manual shift vehicle.
