About the position

Physicians Care is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology Tech to join their team in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves performing x-ray testing and operating diagnostic equipment while ensuring patient safety and care. The position offers a rotating schedule with full-time and PRN options, providing flexibility in work hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.
• Ensure that equipment is in proper working order and report any malfunctions to the Area Manager or provider on duty.
• Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation related to patient visits.
• Assume responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources.
• Maintain current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• BLS Certification.
