About the position

The Art Basel Volunteer Photographer position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event and fashion photography during a premier fashion event in Miami. This role involves capturing high-quality images, working closely with industry professionals, and potentially transitioning into a long-term internship based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos throughout the event, including runway shows, behind-the-scenes, and guest interactions
• Work closely with the event production team to ensure all key moments are documented
• Edit and process photos quickly to provide timely content for social media and promotional use
• Coordinate with designers, stylists, and influencers to capture specific shots
• Maintain an organized archive of event photos
• Assist in creating a visual narrative that aligns with the event's theme and branding

Requirements

• Proficiency in photography, with a strong portfolio showcasing event or fashion photography
• Skilled in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Excellent attention to detail and composition
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
