About the position

The Art Director for Creative X at Meta is responsible for conceptualizing and developing brand campaigns and experiences that respond to cultural trends. This role involves storytelling through design, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and executing innovative visual concepts. The Art Director will also communicate complex technology topics in an accessible manner and present ideas effectively to build consensus within the team.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop brand campaigns and experiences responsive to culture.
• Use design and conceptual ideas to tell a brand story within a product.
• Stay current on global cultural trends and proactively develop timely ideas.
• Communicate complicated technology topics clearly to a non-technical audience.
• Execute original work with innovative visual treatments and concepts.
• Translate complex strategic approaches into accessible creative concepts.
• Present ideas clearly to build consensus within the team.
• Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
• Collaborate with internal and external creative partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (foreign equivalent accepted).
• 36 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience in agency/in-house concepting, art directing, and realizing ideas for brand and product.
• Experience in design, editing, and motion graphics for titles, branding elements, and lower thirds.
• Experience designing and articulating conceptual design decisions.
• Experience creating high-quality comps and prototypes using creative software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
• Experience working on mobile-first social campaigns.
• History of self-initiated projects and detail-focused design skills.
• Experience in product design and project strategy.
