About the position

The Art Director, Digital Creative position at Dentsu Creative US is a hybrid role that combines art direction and design for digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of creative solutions across various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns. This role emphasizes collaboration with a team of art directors and copywriters to create performance-driven deliverables for notable global brands, focusing on both consumer-facing and B2B channels. The Art Director will report to a Creative Director and will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing visual solutions that resonate with consumers and meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design visual solutions for display banners, email campaigns, social media, and website landing pages.
  • Art direct and create storyboards for online videos.
  • Translate wireframes into high-fidelity mockups with attention to interaction design while following style and brand guidelines.
  • Extend visual systems/brand guidelines across all media, incorporating user research and analytics data into engaging design solutions.
  • Understand creative briefs and apply them to digital creative, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Compile presentation decks for internal and external reviews and present to both internal and client-facing project reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, graphic design, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience at an agency or client-side.
  • Experience with social media campaigns.
  • Experience designing and art directing for digital ad platforms.
  • Experience using generative AI to create imagery for use on all channels.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD) and Figma.
  • Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization and other iterative software.
  • Mastery of composition techniques in producing final pieces.
  • Proficiency in design, digital, video, social, and campaign integration across all channels.
