About the position

The Art Director, Digital Creative role at Dentsu Creative involves contributing to the development of creative digital designs across various platforms, including social media, websites, and display ads. The position requires a blend of art direction and design skills, focusing on performance marketing while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of creatives to produce engaging and effective marketing materials for notable global brands.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of creative for digital design, display, social, and websites.
  • Design and art direct for both consumer-facing and B2B channels.
  • Concept creative platforms and execute against those platforms in a performance space.
  • Create visual solutions for display banners, email campaigns, social media, and website landing pages.
  • Art direct and create storyboards for online videos.
  • Translate wireframes into high-fidelity mockups with attention to interaction design.
  • Extend visual systems and brand guidelines across all media.
  • Compile presentation decks for internal and external reviews and present to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, graphic design, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience at an agency or client side.
  • Experience with social media campaigns.
  • Experience designing and art directing for digital ad platforms.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD) and Figma.
  • Experience with front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience using generative AI to create imagery for use on all channels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of both Social and UX best practices, including user research and accessibility across mobile and web.
  • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization and other iterative software.
  • Mastery of composition techniques in producing final pieces.
