About the position

The Art Director Intern position at AUC offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the commerce marketing industry. Interns will collaborate with various teams, including creative, media, and account services, to develop marketing campaigns for well-known brands. This remote internship allows participants to engage in the daily activities of an Art Director, from brainstorming to execution, while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of business unit projects as assigned.
• Support the business unit team with day-to-day work across the division.
• Develop new systems, reports, and analytics to support business unit needs.
• Audit and review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Rising Senior or Graduate Student majoring in Design, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or Graphic Design.
• Available for 40 hours a week from 9-5 for the 10-week program (June 2 - Aug 8).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Possess a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Software.
• Experience in an agency or related field.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative mindset and ability to work as a team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with social media marketing.
• Knowledge of ecommerce strategies.
• Familiarity with brand standards and guidelines.
