About the position

The Art Director, Packaging and Production is a key role within a leading CPG company, responsible for the ideation, design, and execution of innovative packaging and production concepts. This position combines creative and marketing functions, requiring strong leadership and extensive knowledge in packaging design. The role is primarily onsite with a hybrid work model, allowing for collaboration within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine innovative package design concepts
• Create and adhere to brand identity guidelines, ensuring integrity within and across brands
• Pre and post production expertise
• Extensive knowledge of printing processes
• 2D & 3Dimensional Rendering of Packaging and Displays
• Develop or oversee packaging and display mockups
• Corporate signage design
• Digital platform knowledge
• Participate in press runs and review proofs
• Visual Trade Show Design & Collateral
• Product photography (nice to have)
• Collaboration within Creative/Marketing & Cross Functionally

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts / Graphic Design degree
• 7 years design experience in CPG, Beauty or related field
• Exceptional typography, packaging, layout and design experience
• Experience with Trade Ads, Visual Trade Show Designs & Development
• Software experience: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Bridge, Microsoft Office
