About the position

The Art Director at F5 Networks will play a crucial role in the Worldwide Marketing team, focusing on leading creative operations and ensuring high-quality creative output that aligns with the company's brand vision. This position requires strategic thinking and expertise in creative work, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement. The Art Director will manage creative assets, uphold brand guidelines, and work closely with various stakeholders to drive marketing initiatives and business results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Creative Director in running the creative operation with a focus on functional discipline and overall creative impact.
  • Make all creative decisions based on best practices, time constraints, research insights, and F5 business needs.
  • Own the creative assets, ensuring they are organized, findable, and up to date.
  • Maintain brand, creative, and content style guidelines, ensuring they are accessible and current.
  • Exhibit a strong growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Deliver high-quality creative projects that strengthen the brand and support marketing efforts.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy in managing agency relationships and projects.
  • Ensure creative aligns with F5's brand vision and guidelines, maintaining quality standards.
  • Strategically convey the benefits of F5's products/solutions in a relatable way.
  • Contribute to the development of creative strategies that support marketing and communication goals.
  • Ensure briefs communicate strategic objectives and executional priorities for agencies.
  • Partner closely with various strategists and managers to guide asset creation for marketing initiatives.
  • Review and approve agency creative to ensure it meets brand standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide training and support to agency teams.
  • Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and report any violations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role in a marketing or creative environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and leadership in projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy and creative processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.
