About the position

The Art Director (UX/UI) position at ADG Creative involves leading innovative design solutions for various digital and print campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of user experience and interface design, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring junior designers. The position is based in Columbia, MD, and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and generate innovative design solutions for UX/UI initiatives, social media, print, brand, and digital campaigns.
• Drive design research, concepting, exploration, execution, and production of concepts.
• Seek strategic creative solutions to understand client and end-user needs, addressing gaps to create impactful experiences.
• Articulate, present, and defend creative work and pitch ideas to cross-functional teams and clients.
• Independently manage multiple projects and deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Operate with limited direction and communicate effectively with leadership when necessary.
• Create organized solutions by adhering to file management and backup procedures.
• Continuously improve and innovate by keeping up with design trends and technology.
• Mentor designers to help them succeed in their roles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience as an Art Director.
• Strong understanding of Adobe creative software on the Mac platform, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe XD (or Sketch), and Acrobat, as well as MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Must have a T/SCI - Full Scope poly for a Maryland Customer.
