About the position

The Art Director at Fabletics is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of graphic design, ensuring visual consistency across various channels. This role requires a creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, overseeing design quality and alignment with brand guidelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet creative and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute high-quality graphics for all offline and online channels, including eCom, social media, emails, Retail, Events, and more.
  • Ownership of typography, graphic, packaging, and print design.
  • Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with creative leads, design, visual merchandising, and marketing.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine projects.
  • Lead a team of senior and junior designers, providing leadership and guidance on career growth, technique, and creative processes.
  • Partner with Copy and Creative Directors to ensure all materials align and deliver a cohesive message.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute designs that meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure designs remain fresh, relevant, and innovative.
  • Provide hands-on support for all stages of the design process, from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • 6-7+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign + Figma.
  • Strong experience in producing digital assets, including eCom graphics, social media visuals, and email designs.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating polished, visually engaging designs.
  • Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics.
  • Digital editorial/blog or social media design experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and iterate on feedback effectively.
  • A portfolio showcasing strong design skills across a variety of formats.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with digital editorial/blog design.
