About the position

The Art Director at INK is responsible for executing the creative components of complex projects while managing day-to-day design needs for both the agency and its clients. This role involves interpreting client requests, maintaining brand standards, and overseeing projects from concept to completion across various mediums. The Art Director will collaborate with design and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

• Interprets client requests and creative briefs while maintaining the integrity of client brand standards.
• Pays attention to detail, allowing for effort and focus on the strategic nature of a project.
• Brings a project from concept to completion by working in a variety of mediums.
• Prioritizes workload and sets accurate expectations with teams.
• Works directly with other members of the design team and communicates with other internal INK teams.
• Works on a variety of client and internal projects, including digital, print, and social.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional design experience, agency setting preferred
• Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
• Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
• Strong understanding of typography and design principles
• Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Ability and willingness to work in Microsoft programs, notably PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in B2B technology and/or renewable energy, a plus
• Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro with experience in motion graphics, preferred
• Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, preferred
• Knowledge of web design and WordPress, preferred
