About the position

PXP Studios is seeking an Art Director/Creator who is passionate about bringing big ideas to life across various mediums. This role is not just about traditional art direction; we are looking for a creative individual who is involved in every stage of the production process, from concept to execution. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes planning, shooting, and editing content, demonstrating a hands-on approach to creative production. You will work closely with the Executive Producer to establish treatments and manage shoot planning and execution, ensuring that the creative vision is realized effectively. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams, including Internal Agency Teams (IAT), Associate Creative Directors (ACD), Copywriters, Strategists, Producers, and the Production Crew. Your role will involve raising the quality of work across multiple clients by understanding when and how to engage different departments such as Media, Strategy, Creative, and Production. You will supervise creative productions in partnership with the Executive Producer, anticipating and addressing any strategic or creative obstacles that may arise, and providing innovative solutions. You will be responsible for adapting the look, feel, and style of work across a variety of brands and mediums, actively participating in multiple projects simultaneously. Staying current on industry and technology trends is crucial, as you will gather information from media, research, and trend spotters to create appropriate styles and visual expressions for products or services. Crafting, presenting, and pitching creative concepts and decks to both internal and client teams will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will maintaining a high energy level throughout the team. Additionally, you will review all production development work for accuracy before final production and plan, develop, and strategize media concepts for multi-platform posts. Your creative eye and flair will be essential as you shoot and edit content for stories or posts using accessible and common tools. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Executive Producer to establish treatments and manage shoot planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with Internal Agency Teams (IAT), ACD, Copywriter, Strategist, Producers, and Production Crew to elevate the quality of work across multiple clients.
  • Understand when and how to engage different departments: Media, Strategy, Creative, and Production.

Requirements

  • Experience in Retail is a Must, Grocery is a Plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an advertising agency or content creation role; experience in production is a plus.
  • Experience spans social, digital, integrated, and holistic brand marketing across multiple brands and industries.
  • A hybrid production skillset is encouraged.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a can-do attitude with a willingness to support client visions and production needs.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects while adjusting to changes in timelines, deadlines, and project goals.
  • Must have a strong online portfolio; candidates without one will not be considered.
  • Must love the speed of culture and social media, be a master at pop culture trends, and understand the wit of the internet.
