Mutiny is Trailer Park Group's integrated creative agency focused solely on video gaming. We are seeking an Art Director who is not only an avid gamer but also possesses the ability to design and conceptualize big ideas for integrated campaigns, particularly those surrounding social media content. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on the challenge of selling their ideas and work. The Art Director will dive deep into clients' businesses, understanding their marketing challenges and proposing innovative solutions. The perfect candidate will have a passion for video games, social marketing campaigns, and cutting-edge creativity, and will excel in collaborating with creative teams to produce engaging content. This position requires fluency in the modern marketing landscape, especially in social media, as well as a keen understanding of internet culture and the gaming audience's preferences. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and directing art assets for campaign-level social and digital branding and messaging. You will work closely with copywriters, strategists, and project managers to develop and plan campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and impactful message across various channels and platforms. Additionally, you will assist teams with storyboarding, shot lists, and creative direction, while also implementing feedback from both internal and client teams. The ideal candidate will have a love for gaming, particularly first-person shooter games, and will possess an award-winning or award-worthy integrated portfolio that showcases their craft and attention to detail. With a minimum of 4 years of art direction experience, you should have a background in working for an integrated marketing agency, with a history of creating assets for digital and social campaigns. You must be able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, demonstrating organization, detail orientation, and a friendly demeanor. Being even-tempered and adaptable under pressure while collaborating with various teams is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and direct art assets for campaign-level social and digital branding and messaging.

Requirements

  • A love for all things gaming, with first-person shooter game experience being helpful.

  • 4+ years of art direction experience required.
  • Experience working for an integrated marketing agency, with a history of creating assets for digital and social campaigns.
  • Proven experience developing campaign-level ideation.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; organized, detail-oriented, and friendly.
  • Even-tempered and able to interact and adapt well under pressure with various teams on numerous projects.
