About the position

The position of Art Teacher at Pasco High School involves a comprehensive role in developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program tailored for high school students in grades 9-12. The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging curriculum and lesson plans that not only meet educational standards but also foster a safe and secure learning environment. This role requires adherence to federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance in all educational practices. The teacher will work full-time, with a commitment of 196 days per year, and will be eligible for benefits. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Art Teacher may be required to teach an additional period beyond the standard contract. Should this occur, the teacher will receive additional compensation at the negotiated rate, which is currently set at $5500 for a full year. This compensation will be treated as part of the salary for Florida Retirement System purposes, ensuring that the teacher's contributions to retirement are maximized. The position is designed for individuals who are passionate about art education and are committed to the academic and personal growth of their students.

Responsibilities

Requirements
