The Art Teacher position at North Eugene High School is a full-time role for the remainder of the 2024/25 school year, focusing on the instruction and supervision of a diverse group of students. Responsibilities

• Instruct students directly and guide the learning process toward achieving curriculum goals.

• Diagnose instructional needs and prescribe appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain order in the classroom and develop reasonable rules of behavior.
• Communicate openly with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress.
• Collaborate with other school personnel to meet diverse social and academic needs.
• Train and lead Instructional Assistants in classroom instruction.

Requirements

• Art endorsement required for the position.
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience.
• Experience in behavior management and classroom management.
