About the position

The Art Teacher position involves instructing children aged 5-10 in engaging after-school art classes at private schools. Responsibilities

• Instruct children ages 5-10 in engaging after school art classes at private schools.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse group of teachers and students.
• Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to commit to a weekly class from January - June.
• Must be comfortable instructing children in completing a simple arts & crafts project.
• Previous teaching experience required.
• Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
• Excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
• Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
