About the position

Windsor Prep High School is seeking a full-time Art Teacher to join their team. This position is aimed at providing art education to high school students with social, emotional, and learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to engage students in a supportive and creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for high school students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress in art education.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with special education staff to support students' individual needs.
• Participate in school events and meetings.

Requirements

• NJ Teaching Certification is required.
• Experience in teaching art at the high school level.
• Knowledge of special education practices is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
