About the position

Miami Fine Arts Academy is seeking experienced and dedicated Art Teachers who are passionate about art and teaching. The role involves working with a variety of ages, from 5 years old to young adults, in a group setting using Mixed Media. The position is available for part-time, full-time, or contract work, with a pay rate ranging from $42 to $63 per hour based on class duration and number of students.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes to students aged 5 years to young adults.
• Utilize Mixed Media techniques in teaching.
• Showcase a portfolio of work to demonstrate teaching capabilities.
• Provide references from previous work experiences.
• Maintain a positive mental attitude and professionalism in the classroom.

Requirements

• 3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
• 6 years of art education experience (preferred).
• Ability to work with a variety of ages in a group setting.
• Portfolio showcasing art skills.
