About the position

The Art/Yearbook Teacher at American Leadership Academy-Coastal is responsible for delivering engaging classroom instruction aligned with approved lesson plans for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position requires adherence to school and district policies while fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage classroom responsibilities and contribute to the school's mission.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily classroom instruction aligned with approved lesson plans.
• Adhere to all school and district policies and procedures.
• Maintain sustainable relationships with parents, school personnel, and the public.
• Submit grades and attendance according to school procedures.
• Prepare the classroom for instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Teaching Certification in North Carolina (Preferred).
• 1 year of teaching experience (Preferred).
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and self-management skills.

Nice-to-haves
