About the position

The AI and Automation Product Owner will play a crucial role within the Artificial Intelligence and Automation Center of Enablement (AIA CoE) at Everest Global Services, Inc. This position requires a deep understanding of property and casualty (P&C) insurance operations and financial services, focusing on championing digital enablement efforts across various global businesses. The ideal candidate will influence a culture of an "AI first" mindset, leveraging Generative AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the business to devise a sequence of digital and AI capabilities in support of strategic objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment acting as a trusted partner between business stakeholders and enablement team.
  • Advocate for a positive user experience by engaging with key stakeholders from inception of an idea to implementation.
  • Contribute to building and managing opportunity and idea backlog aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Triage opportunities for suitability and feasibility to balance business objectives and AI & Automation capabilities.
  • Utilize industry and enterprise knowledge to align opportunities for reusability and scalability with business objectives.
  • Lead efforts to identify, assemble, and use accurate business data during design and delivery of AI solutions.
  • Educate and create success metrics, OKRs, and KPIs for AI & Automation solutions.
  • Create solution artifacts including process maps and change management plans aligned with the Target Operating Model.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects adhere to COE Playbook and Responsible AI Policies.
  • Enable Digital Supervisors to monitor and improve AI solutions effectively.
  • Maintain and escalate risks, issues, and blockers related to automation and AI solutions.
  • Provide timely updates regarding enablement and delivery for leadership updates.
  • Contribute to the improvement of best practices and frameworks for the AI & Automation program.

Requirements

  • Prior P&C and/or financial services experience is a must.
  • 7+ years' experience in process analysis, business analysis, and/or product owner role preferably using Safe Agile methodologies.
  • 2+ years supporting an Intelligent Automation program using AI and Gen AI technologies.
  • Working knowledge of AI & Automation Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), process optimization, and opportunity assessment.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, Business Resiliency, Data Governance, and Information Security is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and influence across IT, Business, and Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or certifications related to Business Analysis, Business Management, Digital Transformation, IT, or a relevant field.
