About the position

As an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Advisor, you will leverage your deep understanding of machine learning to analyze vast datasets and aid in the development of cutting-edge technologies for national security. In this role, you will serve as a Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) Advisor for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive support to DARPA Program Managers in both technical and program management domains. You will assume the role of a subject matter expert, managing a broad technical program portfolio, crafting and refining technical presentations, orchestrating and scheduling meetings and program activities, and diligently managing documentation. You will conduct technical evaluations, offer guidance on reports and briefings, and facilitate communication with performers. Your advanced program management expertise and extensive technical knowledge will be crucial in steering clients through the complex terrain of machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks, ensuring the delivery of breakthrough technology to the warfighter. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond to quick turn-around requests while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in your work.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep understanding of machine learning to analyze vast datasets.
• Serve as a SETA Advisor for DARPA, providing comprehensive support to Program Managers.
• Assume the role of subject matter expert across a broad technical program portfolio.
• Craft and refine technical presentations for various stakeholders.
• Orchestrate and schedule meetings and program activities effectively.
• Diligently manage documentation related to projects and programs.
• Conduct technical evaluations and offer guidance on reports and briefings.
• Facilitate communication with performers and stakeholders.
• Apply advanced program management expertise to guide clients through machine learning complexities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with project management in data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
• Experience with training neural network models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests.
• Ability to draw appropriate technical diagrams and create or obtain visuals.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree.
