About the position

The Artificial Intelligence Data Engineer at Everest Global Services, Inc. is responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports AI initiatives. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support AI models and data-driven applications.
• Implement efficient data ingestion and transformation processes for high-quality data.
• Optimize data storage solutions for handling large volumes of data securely.
• Ensure data pipelines are scalable and reliable for increasing data loads and complex AI requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and adhere to best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and integration with AI frameworks.
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines for AI data workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Understanding of data engineering principles specific to AI, including data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Understanding of insurance data and industry-specific requirements is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially within the AI or insurance industry, is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications in data engineering, cloud platforms, or AI technologies can be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
