About the position

The Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Copper River Cyber Solutions will support a new contract at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) by driving AI-centric development in research and development for security scenarios. This remote position requires the candidate to design and implement effective AI solution architectures, utilizing various AI technologies to address clients' business problems while adhering to company strategies. The role involves mentoring team members and developing innovative solutions to complex problems with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective artificial intelligence (AI) solutions utilizing various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work without considerable direction.
  • Mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, data or software engineering research, full stack development, or data analytics.
  • Experience with software and/or artificial intelligence projects.
  • Experience with a programming language, including Python, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and/or Svelte or Java.
  • Experience with deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing machine learning development.
  • Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in working with LLMs (Large Language Models) and OSS GenAI (agent-based) frameworks.
  • Experience in SecDevOps and MLOps/AIOps.
  • Experience in shipping at least 1 large scale ML/AI-based services or applications preferably in the security domain on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with modern Cloud computing technologies, including Docker.
  • Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams.
  • Masters/Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Statistics.
