As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer Journeyman at CACI, you will play a crucial role in supporting software and systems engineering as well as interoperability engineering technical services for our Government customers. Your work will directly contribute to the Program Development Support Services (PDSS) and Program Planning Support Services (PPSS) missions, which cater to a wide range of clients including Program Executive Officers (PEOs), Project Managers (PMs), Project Directors (PDs), and various components of the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). You will be involved in several Programs of Record (PORs), providing comprehensive software sustainment services and preparing for the support of new programs in the future. In this role, you will interact with system users to effectively translate their requirements into actionable systems, hardware, and software specifications. You will also participate in the development of test strategies and be responsible for solving engineering problems or managing the solutions to these challenges within your assigned functional area. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our systems meet the high standards required for national security and operational effectiveness.
