The Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Specialist at Citi is an intermediate-level role focused on enhancing information security through the application of AI and machine learning techniques. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in machine learning and a strong understanding of business objectives to develop models that support the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls.
• Analyze source code to mitigate identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system.
• Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions based on overall risk.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing control issues transparently.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience using tools for statistical modeling of large data sets.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in understanding business objectives and developing models to achieve them.
• Proficiency in analyzing business problems and finding solutions using AI/ML tools.
• Ability to explore and visualize data to understand its distribution and quality.
• Experience in defining validation strategies and preprocessing data for machine learning models.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large language models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with data cleaning and acquisition processes.
• Knowledge of model tuning and hyper-parameter optimization.
