About the position

The AI Product Owner at Capgemini will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technology and business within the life insurance sector. This position focuses on driving the development and implementation of AI-driven products that enhance customer experiences, streamline operations, and improve risk assessment. The ideal candidate will define product vision and strategy, engage with stakeholders, conduct market research, manage the AI product lifecycle, and utilize agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the vision for AI products and strategy.
  • Develop and communicate product roadmaps aligning with company goals, market needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve underwriting, claims processing, customer service, and other key areas.
  • Drive user-centric design principles ensuring AI solutions enhance the customer journey and deliver measurable value.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, actuaries, underwriters, and customers to gather requirements and align with product goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and IT to prioritize and deliver AI-driven features.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the AI team and stakeholders, managing expectations and updating on product progress.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive products, and potential AI applications.
  • Analyze data and user feedback to inform product iterations and enhancements.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of AI products and features, including development of models/algorithms from ideas through launch.
  • Participate in continuous optimization, delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog using agile methodologies.
  • Help plan/manage sprint cycles for on-time delivery of high-impact releases.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development teams in building effective AI solutions.
  • Establish KPIs/metrics for customer satisfaction, conversion rates, and operational efficiency of AI products.
  • Evaluate the impact of AI initiatives on key product goals and communicate performance to stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics to derive insights and drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate with actuarial/legal teams for compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards regarding customer data and bias in AI models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, AI/ML, NLP, and Agile Management.
