About the position

The Artificial Lift Operator II is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of assigned wells and production locations. This role involves performing daily checks, recording well data, conducting minor repairs, and maintaining production equipment. The operator will work independently in various weather conditions and may be required to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily check of assigned wells and production location
• Strive to optimize production on assigned wells
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on surface production equipment with limited supervision
• Keep daily records of gas and water produced volumes, pressures and maintenance performed on wells
• May be required to work overtime and some nights, weekends and holidays
• Carry out duties in accordance with Expand Energy's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and regulatory requirements
• Work effectively in a team environment and understand team roles
• Work independently, be self-motivated, and prioritize work effectively
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn job duties of a Field Operator
• Exhibit good verbal and written communication skills
• Develop strong computer skills and software use as required
• Gather, interpret, and transmit pertinent data
• Conduct limited repairs on surface equipment without supervision
• Work diligently toward the achievement of team goals
• Develop understanding of artificial lift systems, electronic controls, and other equipment associated with the well site
• Record and submit all well data

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 - 5 years related work experience or equivalent substitution of 6 - 9 years related work experience
• Ability to possess a valid driver's license
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Products (Excel)
• Production experience
• Ability to lift/carry weights up to 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs
• Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb stairs, reach, and twist
• Ability to stand/walk for intermittent periods and sit for extended periods
• Ability to drive long distances in remote areas
• Ability to work at heights of 30 ft. above ground
• Experience/knowledge of well surveillance tools such as P2, Well view, Cygnet, Prowell, EU, Share Point, KPA
