About The Position

The Artist Relations Manager at Amazon Music is responsible for fostering collaboration between the company and key members of the New York creative community, including artists, managers, and attorneys. This role involves managing Artist Relations programs, advocating for customers, and driving mutually beneficial results. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the music industry.
• Proven track record of successful long-term client/account relationship management for media or licensing businesses.
• Exceptional organizational and people skills, as well as outstanding strategic and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and act as both an influencer and an ambassador on behalf of Amazon Music.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and encouraging positive discussions between artists/managers and teams within the Hip Hop and R&B artist management community.
• Managing end-to-end internal and external pitches and campaign launches for Artist Relations Programs.
• Working with international colleagues to identify relevant growth opportunities.
• Developing compelling solutions for artists to engage in initiatives with Amazon Music, resulting in business growth for the artist.
• Representing Amazon Music at events, festivals, and other engagements to manage Artist Relations communications.
• Building key relationships and acting as an ambassador for Amazon Music within the artist community and the larger music industry.
• Demonstrating Music apps to the artist and manager community to showcase the benefits of Amazon Music.
• Monitoring and reviewing content performance for the artist team, making recommendations to improve plans.
