About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at Vaco, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes for employees of various clients. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize payroll software to accurately record and process all employee time and payroll data. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. You will be expected to calculate and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and other forms of compensation, ensuring that all payroll transactions are executed accurately and in a timely manner. In addition to processing payroll, you will be responsible for addressing any discrepancies that arise and resolving issues promptly. Compliance with legal requirements is paramount, and you will need to ensure that all payroll processes adhere to applicable laws and regulations. Tracking and recording employee time and attendance will also be part of your daily duties, as well as administering employee benefits programs, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. You will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries, providing them with the necessary information and support. Your role will require you to stay updated on market trends and industry expectations, as well as the company's culture and growth opportunities.
