Responsibilities

• Prepare, complete, and submit claims against Asbestos Bankruptcy Trusts in accordance with trust requirements and deadlines.
• Draft affidavits and legal documents necessary for claim submission.
• Review and extract key information from deposition transcripts and other case-related documents for claim validation.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert consultants to gather necessary information for claims.
• Monitor the status of claims, follow up on pending submissions, and resolve any issues or inquiries from trusts.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and files related to bankruptcy trust claims.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure all deadlines are met and cases are efficiently handled.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in filing claims with Asbestos Bankruptcy Trusts.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of asbestos litigation and bankruptcy claims processes.
• Demonstrated ability to draft affidavits, complete claim forms, and extract relevant information from depositions.
