About the position

The Aseptic Compounder position at Actalent involves conducting labeling and packaging to support commercial manufacturing in a pharmaceutical environment. The role requires adherence to safety policies and good manufacturing practices while working in sterile and controlled areas. The individual will operate various manufacturing production equipment and technologies under the supervision of the Production Supervisor/Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct labeling and packaging to support commercial manufacturing.
  • Operate labeling machines and perform hand labeling of manufactured goods.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment and follow aseptic procedures when working in sterile areas.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately to management.
  • Complete production documentation and maintain cleaning logs as per SOP requirements.
  • Manage heavy workloads and aggressive timelines effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work and education in a related field required.
  • 6 months of experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical industry and within aseptic clean room environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully gown into aseptic manufacturing areas.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
