About the position
The Assistant Store Leader of Visual Merchandising at Altar'd State plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leader by driving store goals related to guest service, sales, and merchandising presentation. This position emphasizes exceptional guest experiences, effective team leadership, and a strong focus on visual design and merchandising excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Store Leader in achieving store goals.
- Provide exceptional guest service through relationship building and product knowledge.
- Drive team engagement and accountability for financial results and performance standards.
- Manage conflict and coach associates using company guidelines.
- Empower associates in decision-making processes and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Plan, execute, and maintain floor sets and window installations.
- Manage seasonal décor placement and product replenishment.
- Control workflow through effective planning and delegation of tasks.
- Utilize weekly reporting to track and analyze business results.
- Communicate effectively with the executive team.
Requirements
- 1 year of Retail Management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
