About the position

The Asleep Overnight Caregiver at REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is responsible for providing community-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during overnight shifts. This role focuses on fostering meaningful relationships, assisting with personal hygiene, and supporting participants in achieving their developmental goals. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those served while working in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants engage in community activities and their favorite pastimes.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Provide support to individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.

Requirements

• No High School Diploma required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
