About the position

The Asphalt Plant Crusher Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the crusher at the asphalt plant. This role involves maintaining site cleanliness, performing general labor activities, and conducting routine maintenance on machinery. The operator will also stockpile materials and report any issues to the supervisor, ensuring the plant runs smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crusher is running at all times
• Maintain site cleanliness and perform general labor activities
• Stockpile incoming material with loader
• Perform daily checks on conveyors, screen deck, and crusher box
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Report crusher issues and required wear parts to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Have mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance
• Be flexible to work extended hours and weekends when required

Requirements

• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Driver's License
• Mechanical knowledge
• Entry-level experience
