About the position

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) at McKesson is responsible for providing day-to-day support for customer accounts in collaboration with outside sales representatives. This role focuses on relationship management, customer retention, and identifying service gaps to enhance the customer experience. The CSM will engage directly with customers, lead initiatives to grow business, and ensure effective communication and training. This position is critical for maximizing customer engagement and satisfaction within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with remote and outside sales to grow and retain business while providing continuous feedback on customer activity.
  • Act as the customer quarterback, handling day-to-day needs and ensuring issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
  • Develop a knowledge base of the marketplace, physician practice dynamics, and concerns.
  • Participate in training and educational initiatives to enhance customer service and product knowledge.
  • Update Salesforce with customer demographic information and monitor customer purchases.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • 4-year degree required, preferably in sales and marketing, business management, or a healthcare-related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare distribution, GPO, Community Oncology, and industry trends.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical products and the buy-and-bill model.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP preferred.
