About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking an Assembler for the 1st Shift (Transformers) at their Waukesha, WI location. This role involves the production of various types of 3-phase transformers in a continuous flow environment, ensuring that customer service requirements are met efficiently and with high quality. The Assembler will work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure timely completion and shipment of products.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Produce all types of 3-phase transformers in a continuous flow environment.
• Read and interpret shop specifications, including shop drawings and process sheets.
• Follow standard work and visual operating procedures to complete tasks.
• Build sub-assemblies per operational and quality standards using calibrated tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure timely product completion and shipment.
• Conduct ratio testing on units and troubleshoot any potential problems found during testing.
• Move units using overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
